My name is Amanda Duffenais, I’m 24 and reside in Barrie, Ontario.

 

From a very young age I loved to express myself in creative ways. From drawing, painting, dancing and baking, artistic expression was a passion of mine. Although I sometimes struggled to determine which direction my life was going to take. One thing I did know was that I wanted it to be creative and exciting.

 

One of my many life passions is cake decoration. I was creating exciting and innovative cake designs before I even knew how to drive. And for the last 6 years it has been my artistic outlet and profession.

 

As my final year of Graphic Design at Georgian College draws to a close, I look back at how rewarding a journey it has been. Becoming a Graphic Designer has turned out to be such a huge milestone in my life that I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

 

As this is just the beginning of my future endeavor's, I am extremely excited about what prospects it holds and look forward to growing my experience and creativity in the industry that means so much to me.
